Rhode Island Water/Wastewater Agency Response Network - RIWARN
Rhode Island WARN (RIWARN) is an independent mutual aid network that allows water and wastewater systems to act quickly, without a state or federal emergency declaration. RIWARN members are part of a mutual aid assistance agreement spanning public and private utilities. Utilities help utilities during natural or man-made disasters by lending personnel and equipment to prepare for, respond to, and recover from an emergency. Participation in RIWARN is voluntary. RIDOH does not facilitate RIWARN and is providing information about RIWARN to utilities as a resource.
