Clinical Social Work (CSW) Licensure Requirement Changes effective June 2022
There have been amendments to the Rhode Island Social Work Statute, effective late June 2022. Pursuant to the amended Social Work Statute, passing the national exam administered by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) is not currently required for the Clinical Social Work (CSW) license and will not be required until at least August 15, 2025.
