Mission
To administer the provisions of regulation 216-RICR-60-05-6 for the purpose of licensing analytical laboratories to collect and analyze medical marijuana products cultivated and/or manufactured by licensed cultivators, compassion centers and producers.
What we do
- Process and review license applications from analytical laboratories applying to sample and test medical marijuana products cultivated or produced by registered and licensed producers.
- Assess applicant analytical laboratories prior to issuing a license to ensure they can meet the regulatory, quality assurance and performance requirements for sampling and testing medical marijuana.
- Conduct on-going inspections and audits of licensed analytical laboratories and their test results reported to the state to certify the potency and safety of medical marijuana products.
