2015 Statewide Health Inventory
Purpose
To evaluate the access and barriers to medical services in the state.
Key Information
Medical insurance types taken, willingness to accept new patients, race/ethnicity and language of patients, practice hours of operation, specific services offered, staffing capacity, and the adoption of information technology. Each of the 12 surveys conducted was tailored to service information relevant to the provider group or consumer.
Collection Period
June to September 2015.
How data are collected
The collection of this information was spearheaded by the Rhode Island Department of Health with the participation and collaboration of state agencies and numerous community providers and stake holders.
