The RIDOH Academic Institute was created in 2015 to achieve the mission and vision by enhancing RIDOH’s efforts to establish and facilitate partnerships and collaborations with academic and research colleagues across the state, and build upon internal and external partnerships and synergy to establish the RIDOH Culture of Learning at the department. RIDOH has been an accredited public health department by the Public Health Accreditation Board since 2015.
