EHRAP Community Outreach, Education & Assessment – FY2026 – Short-Term Project Funding Opportunity
The Rhode Island Department of Health’s (RIDOH) Environmental Health Risk Assessment Program (EHRAP) invites applications from eligible organizations and agencies to apply for a Short-Term Funding Opportunity to support and expand upon EHRAP’s efforts to engage with and educate communities on the impact environmental hazards have on public health. EHRAP’s intention is to award up to eight (8) projects across both currently available EHRAP short-term funding opportunities (Lead in Soil and Outreach, Education & Assessment), not to exceed $4,950 per award. Eligible applicants must be affiliated with, or a part of, a non-profit, school, community-based agency, coalition, and/or grassroots organization that has a Federal Employer Identification Number (FEIN) or a Federal Tax Identification Number. For-profit entities are not eligible.

The deadline for the submission of questions is 4:00 p.m. on Friday, February 27, 2026. Questions should be submitted in writing to Melissa Orpen-Tuz at Melissa.OrpenTuz@health.ri.gov with “EHRAP Community Outreach, Education & Assessment Question” in the subject line. At the conclusion of the Q & A period, all questions and official answers will be posted as an addendum on the RIDOH website. RIDOH will not be responding directly to applicants.
