What we do

Coordinate care by working with refugee resettlement agencies, State programs, and health and social service providers to develop coordinated and comprehensive health services for refugees.

Assist refugees in meeting the medical screening requirements to adjust their status to a lawful permanent resident (seek a green card).

Convene partners to identify and resolve system barriers to appropriate care for refugees.

Train providers to engage in culturally and linguistically appropriate care as mandated by the National Standards for Culturally and Linguistically Appropriate Services in Health and Health Care (CLAS). more

Award mini-grants and funding to voluntary agencies (VOLAGs) and resettlement agencies to promote refugee health View recent funding opportunities

Perform surveillance of refugee health information for planning and reporting purposes.
