Immunization Honor Roll

RIDOH’s Office of Immunization promotes and supports efforts to deliver high-quality immunization services through recognition of Rhode Island’s healthcare professionals and immunization partners who demonstrate their commitment to the health and safety of patients, healthcare staff and facility employees, and communities.

Rhode Island's Immunization Honor Roll spotlights best practices and outstanding efforts among healthcare partners to increase vaccine confidence, improve vaccination coverage rates, and reduce the spread of vaccine-preventable diseases. By working together, we can increase vaccine uptake, promote vaccine confidence, and protect all people in Rhode Island from preventable diseases, especially vulnerable people, populations, and communities seeking care.

RIDOH works with mass immunizers, healthcare professionals, and other partners to make vaccines available and accessible in all communities, with insurance covering most vaccines. The following resources and options may be especially helpful for people in transition or having difficulties accessing care:

  • Asthenis Public Health Hub: This year-round vaccination clinic is located in Providence and serves adults and children without insurance or without a doctor.
  • Community clinics: In the fall and early winter, adults and children throughout Rhode Island may get vaccinated against flu and other respiratory viruses at school-located clinics held during convenient day and evening hours.
  • CVS Minute Clinics: Available throughout Rhode Island, with many vaccinations offered year-round, people can book quick and convenient vaccinations at local pharmacies, day or night, 7 days a week.
  • VaxAssist: This online tool helps people find vaccination services near them to protect against respiratory viruses such as flu, COVID-19, RSV, and pneumococcal pneumonia.
