The Counseling Compact allows eligible licensed mental health counselors an alternative method for providing services in other member states. If you are interested in learning more about the Counseling Compact please use the following link: https://counselingcompact.org/compact-commission. While this legislation has passed in RI, the compact is not currently operational.

- Chapter 13 Rule on Medication and Binding Dispute Resolution
- Chapter 14 Rule on CCC Joint Investigations
- Chapter 15 Rule on Grounds for Compact Privilege Termination
Public comment ends September 13, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. MT.
Public Hearing: A public hearing on the Rule will be held if a hearing is requested by at least twenty-five (25) persons, a state or federal governmental subdivision or agency, or an association having at least twenty-five (25) members.
