Licensing Boards And Commissions
For many groups of licensees, we work with a professional board to establish standards for training and conduct, review license applications, and investigate and discipline cases of professional misconduct. Board members represent both licensed healthcare professionals and the general public.
The Secretary of State publishes membership information, open meeting dates, disciplinary actions, and news for all state boards and commissions. more

The Department of Health would like to diversify the composition of its boards. We encourage minorities, women, and people with special healthcare needs to play a role in overseeing the management of our healthcare professions.
