Screening to Succeed Program

To identify, and get help for, children at-risk for poor developmental or mental health outcomes as early as possible.

What we do

  • Provide hardware, bonuses, and technical assistance to encourage primary care offices to adopt and use standarized, electronic, early childhood developmental screening systems.
  • Follow-up with the families, physicians and child care providers of infants and toddlers (younger than 3 years) with results that were out of the normal range and refer the children to appropriate resources.
  • Partner with the Rhode Island Departments of Education; Human Services; and Children,Youth and Families.
