Assisted Living Residence Administrators (216-RICR-40-05-18) and Nursing Home Administrators (216-RICR-40-05-32)

Administration of Anesthetic Agents for Sedation (216-RICR-40-05-37)

RIDOH is proposing to adopt "Administration of Anesthetic Agents for Sedation" (216-RICR-40-05-37). These regulations are open for advanced notice of proposed rulemaking and comments will be accepted through May 16, 2026. A community review for the proposed regulations is being held on Thursday, May 14, 2026 at 2:00 P.M. in Conference Room 2A at the Department of Administration Building, 1 Capitol Hill in Providence, RI.

Based upon comments received during the public comment period, the proposed amendments to the regulations for Licensing of Hospitals (216-RICR-40-10-4) have been terminated. Please note, the current, active version of these regulations remains in effect.
