Building Vaccine Confidence and Trust with Our Community – FY2027 – Short-Term Project Funding Opportunity

The Rhode Island Department of Health’s (RIDOH) Office of Immunization invites applications from eligible organizations and agencies to apply for a Short-Term Funding Opportunity to support local partners in catalyzing vaccine trust and vaccine confidence to at the local level.

Requests for Proposals

The State of Rhode Island is starting to use a new Grants Management System (GMS) called eCivis. Updates on RIDOH’s transition to eCivis will be posted on this web page.

GMS is currently offering monthly trainings throughout fall 2022. Register for monthly virtual training sessions. These are the only training dates being offered to subrecipients/applicants; however, recorded trainings sessions will be posted in the Training Library.

Current grantees or recipients of sub-awards do not need to do anything different for existing awards. Most existing grants will continue to be managed with existing processes and will not be switched to eCivis. Any recipients of grants or sub-awards from any State agency will use the eCivis portal for initial applications and for reporting and administrative requirements.

Organizations will use the eCivis portal to:

  • Request payments;
  • Track budgets;
  • Submit progress reports;
  • Initiate closeout; and
  • Submit applications for available grants. 

Links to each open grant program and applications in eCivis will be posted on the Department Of Administration’s Funding Opportunities web page. As other State agencies implement eCivis, additional opportunities will be posted here. Potential applicants are reminded to review the eligibility criteria before applying. Vendor Registration

Any grantee will be required to complete an Annual Organization Registration in eCivis. Only one annual registration per organization is required, regardless of the number of grants it receives from State agencies. Large organizations with multiple divisions or departments should only submit one annual registration.  Review the Frequently Asked Questions before you begin a registration.
