Electronic Immunization Data Exchange (HL7)

The Rhode Island Department of Health closely adheres to the CDC’s HL7 Implementation Guide for Immunization Messaging, KIDSNET/RICAIR has developed Rhode Island-specific HL7 implementation companion guides for immunization messaging.

CDC's HL7 Version 2.5.1 Implementation Guide: Immunization Messaging (immregistries.org). Test messages are accepted following completion of the Onboarding Questionnaire and the provision of identifiers as of 2/03/2014.
