Building Vaccine Confidence and Trust with Our Community – FY2027 – Short-Term Project Funding Opportunity

The Rhode Island Department of Health’s (RIDOH) Office of Immunization invites applications from eligible organizations and agencies to apply for a Short-Term Funding Opportunity to support local partners in catalyzing vaccine trust and vaccine confidence to at the local level.  RIDCH’s intention is to award up to ten (10) organizations up to $4,975 per award.  Eligible applicants must be located or serving in Rhode Island and have demonstrated proven engagement with communities affected by vaccine-preventable diseases.  Additionally, the organizations have a 501(c)(3) status and be affiliated with, or a part of, a not-for-profit, community-based agency, coalition, and/or grassroots organization that has a Federal Employer Identification Number (FEIN) or a Federal Tax Identification Number.  For-profit entities are not eligible.

Applications should be submitted by no later than 4:00 p.m. on Friday, August 14, 2026 via email to: Ambar Delgado at Ambar.Delgado@health.ri.gov with “Vaccine Equity Short-Term Project Opportunity Application” in the subject line of the email.   Questions should be submitted in writing to Ambar Delgado at Ambar.Delgado@health.ri.gov with “Vaccine Equity Short-Term Project Opportunity Question” in the subject line.  The deadline for the submission of questions is 4:00 p.m. on Friday, July 31, 2026.  At the conclusion of the Q & A period, all questions and official answers will be posted as an addendum on the RIDOH website.  RIDOH will not be responding directly to applicants, and phone calls are strictly prohibited.
