How it works

Group sessions lead by certified Peer Leaders, teach techniques to deal with physical and emotional symptoms of diabetes, promote exercise, proper use of medications, and healthy eating, and effective communication. Sessions meet for 2 1/2 hours per week for 6 weeks.

Adults (18+ years old) who have, or who care for someone with, diabetes.
