Lead Inspector/Assessor 8 Hour Review (English)

The Initial Lead Renovator course provides the required training for individuals who perform or supervise renovation, repair, and painting (RRP) activities, and lead hazard control activities, in pre-1978 residential and child-occupied facilities in Rhode Island. The course covers lead health effects, applicable federal and Rhode Island regulations, and required lead-safe work practices, including containment, dust control, cleaning verification, and documentation. A hands-on skills component evaluates proper containment setup and cleaning procedures in accordance with EPA RRP standards. Successful completion qualifies participants for Rhode Island Lead Renovation Firm license.
