Burrillville Police Department Community Listening Session – Rural Health Transformation Program
Join us for a hybrid community listening session to help shape Rhode Island’s Rural Health Transformation Plan. The federal Rural Health Transformation Program (RHTP) is a historic $50 billion investment to strengthen rural healthcare across the country. Rhode Island has the opportunity to rethink how care is delivered, expand access close to home, and build sustainable systems that last beyond federal funding.
Your voice matters. We want to hear directly from residents, healthcare professionals, EMS, community-based organizations, and other partners about the challenges and opportunities facing rural health in Rhode Island.
During this session, you’ll:
- Learn about the RHTP and what it could mean for Rhode Island.
- Share your perspective on access, workforce, technology, behavioral health, and other priorities.
- Contribute ideas that will inform Rhode Island’s application to CMS and ensure our rural communities are represented.
Other ways to participate:
- Please provide input and concepts to shape RI's RHTP application via RIDOH.OPCRH@health.ri.gov
- Visit the Rural Health Transformation Program web page for updates and additional opportunities to provide feedback
Your voice is critical. Together, we can shape a stronger, more sustainable health care system for Rhode Island’s rural communities.
