Mission

To reduce the health and economic burden associated with Alzheimer’s disease and related disorders by monitoring the burden of Alzheimer’s in Rhode Island, educating individuals and their families on the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of Alzheimer’s disease, and improving the quality of care, education, and support for persons with Alzheimer’s disease and related disorders.

What we do

Assess state programs that address the prevention and treatment of Alzheimer's disease and related disorders in Rhode Island

Track rates of Alzheimer's disease and determine who is at greatest risk

Convene with partners to advise on, advocate for, and participate in activities that address Alzheimer's disease and related disorders

Maintain and annually update the Rhode Island State Plan for Alzheimer's Disease and Related Disorders
