Rhode Island Asthma Control Coalition

The Asthma Control Coalition is comprised of over 50 members coming from over 25 organizations and the community at-large. The coalition members advise, advocate and participate in activities which address asthma in the areas of: clinical care, healthy housing, schools and public education.

Mission

To provide leadership to improve health outcomes of al Rhode Islanders affected by asthma by increasing access to quality health care, education, community resources and services and healthy environments where we live work learn, and play. Interventions will address the prevention and management of asthma with emphasis on racial and ethnic minorities and people of low income.
