Certified Cardiovascular Disease Outpatient Educators
- Certified Cardiovascular Disease Outpatient Educators (CVDOEs)are Registered Nurses, Registered Dietitians and pharmacists who teach individuals how to manage their blood pressure and cholesterol, how to properly use medication, and the basics of a healthy diet. Individual or group consultations are done in doctors’ offices, pharmacies, and CVDOE sites around the state.
Target Audience:Adults (18+ years old) with cardiovascular disease referred by a healthcare provider
