Health risk behaviors in public school students grades 6 through 12 that contribute to the major causes of death, disease, injury, and social problems.

Key Findings, 2017

  • Only 1 in 4 middle school students exercise an hour a day every day.
  • Since 2007, the percent of middle school students who have spent more than 3 or more hours using a computer has increased.
  • High school females, Blacks, Hispanics, LGB students, and students with disabilities did not exercise an hour every day.
